Zack grew up in the Okanagan playing a number of sports, including basketball, football, and rugby. He continued his passion for sports at the university level where he played football for the UBC Thunderbirds while completing a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. After recovering from numerous injuries over the course of a long athletic career, Zack discovered a passion for physical therapy and decided to finish his time at UBC by completing a Master’s in Physical Therapy.
Zack’s treatment philosophy is grounded in an evidenced-based, client-centered approach that identifies his client’s goals and gets them back to doing the things they love to do. He emphasizes exercise and manual therapy to build resiliency, along with education to empower his clients with the skills and confidence to manage their condition. Zack enjoys working with all populations, but has a special interest for treating concussions, vestibular disorders, and lifting and contact sport athletes. Ultimately, Zack’s passion lies in helping people living with persistent and longstanding pain recapture their lives and achieve their goals.
Outside of the clinic, Zack can be found exploring the beautiful outdoors by hiking, skiing, or paddling. Zack lives an active lifestyle and enjoys participating in a variety of sports, with a particular passion for weightlifting and powerlifting.
