Can you tell us one interesting fact about you?

I grew up in Toronto but I love the mountains so much that I now call Vancouver my home. If I'm not at the clinic here at Westcoast SCI, you can find me hiking, skiing up in Whistler, running and exploring all of the West Coast.

How many years have you been a kinesiologist? How many of those have been with Westcoast SCI?

I'm in final year of my undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia and am also completing a minor in psychology. I'm so thrilled to join the team at Westcoast SCI and meeting all of you.

Do you have an area of specialization or interest?

I'm am passionate about health and wellness, and my focus is on postural assessment, and active rehabilitation through exercise. In any session with me, my goal is always to help educate my clients to learn how to move better, and also to have proper form for lifelong health.

Why kinesiology?

I was drawn to the field of kinesiology based on my experiences as an elite ski racer and tennis player, and truly love watching others grow, and achieve their goals as they work with me.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a new patient?

One piece of advice I would give to anyone who's coming to Westcoast SCI for the first time is to be very open-minded and clear about your goals. Understand that the body has an incredible capacity to recover, and a lot of that can be achieved through exercise.
