What is one interesting fact about you?
I love doing outdoor activities including thinks like running, biking, hiking, backcountry camping and scuba diving! This summer I am looking forward to doing an eight day canoe trip in Northern BC!
What lead you to becoming a physiotherapist?
Before studying physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia I worked as a Kinesiologist. I have been very active throughout my life and had great experiences with physiotherapists to treat my own injuries. I actually took a sports medicine class in high school and since then have always wanted to be a physiotherapist.
I find the human body to be very interesting, and always enjoy learning more about it. I love the opportunity to be able to help people and enhance their overall wellbeing
What area of physiotherapy are you most interested in?
I am really interested in treating musculoskeletal injuries, however I like working with a variety of cases. I always enjoy treating a wide range of conditions.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a client?
One piece of advice I would give to a client would be to always keep moving, movement and physical has endless benefits to the body. It is also important to find a balance between rest and exercise
