Can you tell us one interesting fact about you?

My hobbies include spending time with my family and watching my kids impress me on a daily basis. I also enjoy playing volleyball and snowboarding!

How many years have you been a physiotherapist?

I’ve been practicing physiotherapy for 9 years, and I started Westcoast SCI in 2010.

What’s the story behind Westcoast SCI?

Westcoast SCI started because I felt we needed to improve the way physiotherapy was practiced. I realized earlier on in my career that the one-on-one model was the best way to achieve that.

Why physiotherapy?

I chose physiotherapy because I’m a people person. I wanted a profession where I could help people take care of themselves. I also like the fact that it involves studying the human, since humans are such an amazing feat of nature.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a new patient?

Physiotherapy isn’t just for treating injuries. We’re trained to help people regain an active lifestyle. We don’t treat individual body parts, rather, we look at the body as a whole. That way, we can help people reach their full potential.
