Westcoast SCI Physiotherapy is celebrating moving to a brand new clinic in Downtown Port Coquitlam by hosting an Open House event on January 15, 2022!

We want to welcome you to our new clinic in style with a day of free health & wellness workshops, snacks and mingling!

Our new clinic is 2.5x bigger than our previous location, it is a much brighter space with a gym twice the size, 4 enclosed treatment rooms and more equipment to help our clients reach their health and wellness goals.

Located in historic Downtown Port Coquitlam, steps away from the Traboulay Poco Trail and a 5 min. walk to either Lions Park or Gates Park, we also have ample street parking plus an additional 10 dedicated parking spots!

Free refreshments and door prizes provided by Jimmy’s Lunchbox, Matteo’s Gelato, Samz Neighbourhood Pub, City Avenue Market and more!

Tight hamstring hacks workshop

Tight Hamstring Hacks

Led by Dom Wade (Limited to 10 participants, free to attend)

This workshop covers Simple DIY tricks of the trade to immediately access the full length of your hamstrings, no equipment needed! The session will be led by one of our physiotherapists Dom where he will go through a series of movements that are effective ways to improve the mobility of your hamstrings.

Exercise in Pregnancy, Post Partum and Beyond Workshop

Led by Natasha Lohues & Natalie Fujisawa (Limited to 10 participants, free to attend)

This interactive workshop will be focused on recommendations, safety precautions, and considerations for exercise during pregnancy and during the post-partum period.

The first half of the session will be a discussion lead by pelvic physiotherapist Natasha, followed by a workout led by kinesiologist Natalie. During this session you will learn some exercises and exercise modifications that can be helpful during pregnancy and post-partum.

Other topics will include why kegels are not always the answer, timelines and considerations for returning to running post-partum, and different pelvic floor considerations to be aware of (and when to check in with a doctor or a pelvic floor physio).

Anyone is welcome to attend, including partners or family members!
