6 Tips for Quick Pain Relief from Plantar Fasciitis
What is Plantar Fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis is a common cause of heel pain in many adults. The plantar fascia is a band of tissue that connects the heel to the toes. Below are some quick tips and exercises to help manage and reduce pain from plantar fasciitis. Here are some tips for some quick pain relief:
1. Rest | Rest, and refrain from high impact activities to help reduce inflammation in the foot sole.
2. Ice | an ice pack is a great way to short term pain relief from plantar fasciitis
3. Shoe Orthotics | Orthotics can help give your arch additional support
4. Use a Water Bottle? | A water bottle can be a great tool at home to help with pain relief. Fill up a water bottle and freeze. Roll the water bottle along the length of your foot sole, for a great stretch and ice at the same time.
