Her experience includes being a physical activity mentor for women, a soccer coach, shadowing physiotherapists and kinesiologists, as well as some personal training experience herself.
Anjali’s approach to personal training aims at striving to help every individual feel comfortable and confident in moving their body. The greatest message she likes to portray is that any amount of exercise is medicine and makes the utmost difference in one’s health and well-being.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In her free time, Anjali enjoys working out, studying, going for walks, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Do you have an area of specialization or interest?
Anjali specifically loves teaching her clients how to weight train, but is open to catering to the diverse needs of each client.
Why did you choose to study kinesiology?
Anjali chose to study kinesiology because of her love for the human body. Ever since she was young, Anjali has had a passion for physical activity through her experience with soccer and the gym. She also has been very interested in rehabilitation, after experiencing many injuries from soccer.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a new patient?
A piece of advice Anjali would give to a patient is always stay positive and be patient with yourself. Results and progress in the gym happen when an individual is dedicated and does not let obstacles interfere with their commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle. She believes clients who bring an upbeat, excited attitude to training sessions have the best results.
